Position Summary:
MedReview is seeking a highly analytical and detail-driven HRIS/Payroll Analyst to join our HR Team. The role sits within Human Resources but operates as a critical liaison between HR and Finance, ensuring seamless payroll processing, data accuracy, and reporting alignment across both functions.

This is a hands-on, data-heavy role requiring advanced Excel expertise and strong experience working within HRIS systems. Experience with Namely is highly preferred.

This is NOT a remote position. The role is on-site Monday through Thursday in our New York City Office, with remote flexibility on Fridays. Candidates must reside in the tri-state area (NY, NJ, CT) to be considered.

 Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary liaison between HR and Finance for all payroll-related processes
  • Process and support high-volume, bi-weekly payroll with a focus on accuracy and compliance
  • Utilize advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas) to analyze payroll and HR data
  • Maintain and optimize HRIS (Namely preferred), ensuring data integrity, system accuracy, and reporting efficiency
  • Conduct regular audits of employee and payroll data to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Generate and deliver headcount, payroll, and HR analytics reports for leadership
  • Update and reconcile payroll changes including new hires, termination, and compensation updates
  • Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Partner cross-functionally with HR and Accounting to support process improvements and operational efficiency
  • Stay current on payroll laws and compliance regulations
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of payroll experience in a high-volume environment
  • 2+ years of HRIS experience (Namely strongly preferred)
  • Advanced Excel skills are required (this is non-negotiable)
  • Strong understanding of payroll laws, wage regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Finance/Accounting teams
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage deadlines with precision
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Salary Range: $80k-90k/Annually
