Position Summary
The FP&A Analyst will gather and analyze financial and operational data to create comprehensive financial models, forecasts, and reports that track company performance and support the budgeting process. The ideal candidate will provide accurate and data-driven information on the trends and underlying internal and external factors impacting the company’s revenue, growth, product/market performance, and profitability. The role will also support the strategic planning process and work with senior leadership of the organization to promote continued growth and profitability. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience analyzing and reporting on large data sets.

Responsibilities:
 
  • Gather and analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate business performance overall and across different departments.
  • Construct financial models to analyze various scenarios, including “what-if” scenarios, to both evaluate potential business impacts and inform strategic business decisions.
  • Present analyses and key takeaways to internal stakeholders, and work with them to understand business drivers and their impact.
  • Collaborate with internal business partners to create annual budget and periodic forecasts.  Partner with budget owners to gather data, create budget projections, help prioritize decisions, monitor financial performance against budget, and improve forecast accuracy.
  • Prepare and present regular financial reports, including monthly and quarterly performance summaries, for management review.
  • Create and maintain models and goals for strategic planning, including evaluating initiatives, modeling financial impacts, and reporting to company leadership.

Qualifications:
 
  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or economics is required.
  • A minimum of 4 years of finance or accounting experience is required. Proven financial modeling and analytical skills are required.
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to derive actionable insights from both financial and operational data.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Strong communication and people skills to convey complex financial information effectively.
  • Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks and deadlines is required.
  • Extensive knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting.
  • Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP system is required.
  • Experience in health insurance and / or payment integrity sector preferred.
  • Experience with payroll software and Power BI or other visualization tools is preferred.
  • US work authorization.

Work Environment:
 
  • Visual and Auditory comprehension & function for written & verbal communication.
  • Manual Dexterity with ability to use computers and other office equipment necessary to perform assigned tasks.
  • Ability to access various settings, negotiate architectural barriers (i.e., stairs) in office and community settings.
  • Ability use Public Transportation to commute to work.
  • Monday-Thursday in office in our NYC headquarters

Remote Work Requirements:
 
  • High speed internet (300 Mbps per person recommended) with secured WIFI.
  • A dedicated workspace with minimal interruptions to protect PHI and HIPAA information.
  • Must be able to sit and use a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.

Salary Range: $85k-90k /Annually.
